Square Foot Show
So I painted a wee 12" by 12" painting to go in this year's Square Foot Show. This is a great group show that takes place every year at the AWOL Gallery (Ossington/Queen). This year its up from August 15- September 6.
There are over 1400 pieces in the show and its quite an experience to be in a room with a solid grid, floor to ceiling of so many art pieces. I ended up being #42a in the grid ;)
My piece is called "portrait of my heart in the 1990's" - long, sentimental and sufjan stevens- esk on purpose!

The text in the painting reads "my heart is a rectangle". It was painted while watching season 1 of True Blood.
